James R. Cook was born in Mobile, Alabama and graduated from The University of South Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. He has been in the financial services business for over 40 years. Jimmy is a Life and Qualifying member of the industry standard Million-Dollar Round Table and Hall of Fame member since 1990. He is a member of the Paramount Planning Group of Equitable and a 16 time qualifier of Court of the Table. He is a past president of the National Associate Forum. He is a member of the National CLU Society, Mobile Association of Life Underwriters and has served on numerous Boards, such as the Joey Summers Memorial Foundation, the American Lung Association, The Dauphin Island Sea Lab Foundation and Team Jesus Ministries.
Jimmy's assistant is Lynda Revette. Lynda is the office manager and handles client services. Our Mobile office is staffed Monday - Thursday 830am-4pm and on Friday 8am-12n. Jimmy also has an office in Camden, Alabama where he can be reached on Mondays and Fridays from 830am-4pm.
Jimmy resides in Camden, Alabama with his wife Fran Gaston Cook. They have three children; a daughter, Kristian Cook Perkins and two sons, Garrett and Grant Gaston. They are members of Camden United Methodist Church. For outside activities, Jimmy enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends and family.
